One of the simplest everyday tasks that everyone does (almost) daily is having a bath. Showering in the morning helps you keep clean and get fresh for the day ahead. While it may sound like a simple exercise, there are a few things that you might have been doing wrong in this process. Here are 9 important things you should keep in mind when taking a bath.
1. Avoid Scrubbing Too Much
Scrubbing too much will leave you looking fair and dirt-free is a myth. The fact is that if you scrub in excess, it will ruin your skin. The top layer of your skin gets removed when you scrub hard and often which may lead you prone to skin infections.
2. Don’t Leave The Loofah/Scrubber As Such
After the use of loofah or scrubber in the shower, we have a tendency to leave it as such without taking proper care to wash it off properly and let it dry. This paves room for bacterial growth in it which may cause skin infections or itching when you use it again on your body.
3. Do Not Wax/Shave Before Shower
Waxing or shaving before having a bath is not advisable as it leads to an increase in the size of the pores on your skin. This in turn may lead to dry and dull skin. Hence, whenever you have to wax or shave, always do it after shower.
